Back to the Classics Challenge

As I have previously posted, I will be participating in the Back to the Classics Challenge hosted by Sarah at Sarah Reads too much. Here are the categories and what I will be reading for each one:
  1. A Banned Book - I will be reading Paradise Lost by John Milton
  2. A Book with a Wartime Setting (can be any war) - The Unbearable Lightness of Being by Milan Kundera and Anne Frank Remembered by Miep Gies
  3. A Pulitzer Prize (Fiction) Winner or Runner Up - To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee
  4. A Children's/Young Adult Classic - Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll
  5. 19th Century Classic - Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte
  6. 20th Century Classic - The Colour Purple by Alice Walker
  7. A Book you think should be considered a 21st Century Classic - Middlesex by Jeffrey Eugenides and Atonement by Ian McEwan
  8. Re-Read a book from your High School/College Classes - The Catcher in the Rye by J.D. Salinger
