The Review

I was not sure what to expect from this - as all mystery series have their pros and cons. You get two types of mystery: you can either see through the plot or you can enjoy the book by having the truth unveiled at the appropriate time. This one for me fell into the latter.

This mystery was well written - great descriptions and so many suspects to choose from! And don't get me started on the delicious cop. This book had so many different levels to it - with A.J's background, her mother's, her aunts - this story is just so multi-faceted that you have no time to see through the plot to solve the mystery.

I quite enjoyed this one, and cannot wait to read the rest of the series.
